Backpack Program (Collected in the Narthex)

Items are delivered to Immanuel Lutheran Church (ILC), Webster, each week. We welcome boxes of dried cereal/oatmeal, individually wrapped applesauce/fruit cups, boxed macaroni & cheese, Ramen noodles, peanut butter and jelly (plastic containers only), dry pasta, canned soups, canned pasta, tuna fish, individual packets of cookies/crackers/granola bars for this collection. Each week, bags of food go to the Webster Elementary Schools to help students, identified by staff, who are at risk for food shortage on the weekend. Items donated that do not fit into the backpack program go to the Little Food Cupboard, behind ILC. Your support means so much to these students.

Meal Ministry

The Good Shepherd Meal Ministry cooks and delivers everyday meals for members of our church family who are going through a difficult, busy time. If someone you know needs a break from cooking, e.g., has surgery coming up, a new baby on the way, caring for an elderly relative, etc., please call me to set up a meal schedule. If you can provide or deliver a meal or just snacks (muffins, fruit, etc.) for someone, just once in a month - please contact Debra at (585) 671-5581 or 261-9570.
