VIA MEDIA - Q & A on your faith Dates: Thursdays - February 14 - March 13 Time: 6 pm - Sharing dinner followed by video or DVD presentations and discussion Place: Good Shepherd Parish Hall - corner of Rte 250 & State Road. Contact: If you have questions before you attend, please call at our phone number above. Good Shepherd Episcopal church is offering a series of five Christian education courses called Via Media. Our objective is to create an open and inclusive environment that appeals to our existing congregation members as well as people in our local community wondering about Christianity or the Episcopal Church. We encourage people to bring their ideas and questions, and we'll provide the informational resources and a place to exchange your thoughts and voice your opinions. Over a period of five weeks, Good Shepherd invites those seeking a spiritual community to enter both the journey and the conversation. Using a combination of learning styles which includes video, written materials, small group discussion, and large group forum, a group of us will encounter the basic principles of Christianity through the approach of Scripture, Tradition, and Reason. All people are encouraged to ask questions, and to learn how to answer their own questions of faith. Just as everyone is welcome at our Lord’s table on Sundays, everyone is welcome to join us in this learning and fellowship experience. Please call to reserve your place – 585-872-2281 and leave a message with our Administrator or in Father Lance Robbin’s voice mail – voice mail # 2. You may also call Father Lance if you would like more details before attending There is more to the Episcopal faith than sitting in the pews on a
Sunday morning. Get involved and be inspired by your faith. The Episcopal
Church has so much to offer and we want everyone to experience the true
colors of our faith tradition. That is why we are offering a new approach
to Anglican education with Via Media, a 5-week course which includes
videos, conversation and of course food. Via Media can be explored online at http://www.everyvoice.net/
